"It’s not how much we give, but how much we put into giving."
It is the mission of The Point Residential Program to provide residential services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, irrespective of race, creed or sex. We focus on providing a nurturing, stable, and secure environment designed to help individuals develop to their maximum potential. The program is designed to serve people based on their individual needs and is person centered and “best practice” driven. Our goal is to create opportunities for the individuals we support to become contributing and inclusive members of their community.
The Point Residential Program offers a variety of living opportunities. We currently operate 5 licensed group homes, 1 staffed residence, 1 home with 10 hours of staff support per week and 1 apartment program. The program is currently funded through a combination of federal, state and county dollars, along with private donations. We also accept private pay if funding is not an option for an individual. Individuals living in our homes are expected to pay rent and incidental out of pocket. Adjusted Monthly Income payments are also charged as applicable and determined by Medicaid. Our homes are located in Boone, and Kenton County. We are a certified SCL provider and have been serving individuals residentially since 1995.
