Point Perk is our newest social enterprise that opened in December 2015 with funds from a Hatton Foundation grant. Point Perk employs 5 individuals and serves as a place for the community to come get their feel good cup of coffee and to see our mission in action.

The Point Commercial Laundry

The Point Commercial Laundry has provided quality laundry service to local hotels, casinos, restaurants, and conventions centers since 1996. We provide jobs for individuals and use revenue from the Laundry to run our other programs.

Started as the Logo and Design Company in 2012, we provide quality embroidery, silk-screen and "glitz" products for businesses, schools and non-profits while training and hiring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Point Commercial Cleaning Company

The cleaning company began in 1985 and offers full-time employments to individuals who need minimal supervision. They are trained on commercial cleaning. Employees from KOI Auto Parts and The Point offices look forward to seeing the employees on a daily basis as a part of their office routine.

Hi, I'm Mark!

The people who know Mark today all share the same observation about Mark over the past few years, he's become more outgoing. Mark moved into The Point's Hamm Home about 3 years ago to be closer to his family that lives in Northern Kentucky. His mother, Julie, has seen Mark grow into a more independent and confident man. She was surprised to learn his love of cooking. Mark shares typical house responsibilities with his 2 other roommates.

Hi, I'm Tom!

Tom has been a resident at The Point's Hancock Home since February of 2014. Tom's family shared that he really enjoys the high quality of care that the staff provides. The large basement recreation room is a great place for parties and family gatherings. Tom also enjoys spending time in the room with his house mates.

Hi, I'm Maggie!

A few years ago we met Maggie as she went through our Team Building Class and Social Communication Program. Maggie is a vibrant young lady, with a lot of goals and aspirations. Maggie learned job skills and positive work behaviors to take into the community. She comments, "I loved coming to class at The Point, I really enjoyed working with a team and building my communication skills, while working with other people."
